1. Q: How long is the rental period?
    A: The rental period is for 2 weeks. Any additional week is subject to $25 per week.

    A: There are certain items that the transfer stations charge us additionally for. Please reference our Terms and Conditions for exact pricing. If dumpster is filled with concrete, brick or asphalt, please do not load painted materials as we do not accept anything painted.
  1. Q: What happens if I go over the ton limit?
    A: If you go over the ton limit there will be a charge of $165 per additional ton, which is prorated to the half ton.
  1. Q: What forms of payment does Dumpsters R Us accept?
    A: We accept all major credit cards, (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), cash or check.If credit card, we take the information over the phone when the order is placed. The card gets processed the next business day.If cash or check, please hand the cash or check to the driver upon delivery of the dumpster. Please make sure the check is filled out properly and signed.
  2. Q: Do I need a permit for the dumpster rental?
    A: Permits are not required for the dumpster as long as it is placed on your property (in a driveway, on lawn etc). Please check with your local city or town ordinance to see if a permit is required.
  3. How high can I fill the dumpster?
    We ask you to not fill the dumpster to the top and to keep it about a foot below the top to prevent any safety issues.
  4. How much notice do I need to give when ordering my dumpster?
    We can typically deliver your dumpster within 48 hours of you ordering, but it may be in your best interest to request our services as far in advance as possible so we can provide you with the best possible service. Unfortunately we are not doing same day delivery at this moment.
  5. How do I know if I need a Permit?
    It is important for you to contact your town or city to determine if you need a permit for your dumpster rental because each town/city has different rental specifications for public and private land. If you do need a permit, it may be beneficial to contact them as soon as possible to ensure that you are aware of the time frame and cost requirements for a specific permit.
  6. What do I do with hazardous chemicals?
    We don’t allow hazardous chemicals to be placed in our dumpsters. Any sort of hazardous chemicals or materials should be handled with the correct procedure. Feel free to contact your town’s public works department to learn about the correct process of how to dispose of these chemicals.
  7. What can’t go in the dumpster?
    Hazardous waste and liquids cannot go in the dumpster because of the harmful chemicals and features that they contain. Hazardous waste includes paints, painted brick, concrete, or asphalt, solvents, liquids or any asbestos. If you wish to dispose of any of these particular chemicals or have questions about what is considered hazardous, you may consult your local public works office and they will be able to provide you with a list of services to safely remove and dispose any of these chemicals or features.
